Tom Morison Tournament:
Start is at 7 AM to 5 PM. Please record time of day along with size of fish entered. Meet at 6 PM for Banquet.
PSA Spring Banquet& Elections
of officers and Board of Director positions. A short monthly meeting and elections will take place before the banquet.
Rules will be the same as last year,
Must be a Member before tournament starts.

Chautauqua Steelhead Show, March 20-21, Pending Greg’s negotiations with shows organizers, table <$100 (This show
is the weekend before the Spring Banquet and wood help with membership sales and Spring Raffle ticket sales.)

Fall Big Run Banquet-
Jeff Zofchack wanted some of our patches
for the Ohio Central Steelheaders Club; we received 12 Ohio Central Steelheaders patches in return.
Hatchery
Report
Mike Felege, and Bob Hetz picked up the 2009 Class of Steelhead Eggs on January 13, 2009.
Bob Zawadzki- volunteers that age feeding the fish must obey the rules of the Water Department. Feeders need to have
an electronic key to get in after business hours; Violators will be charged with Trespassing. Brook has the hatchery screens
at the new Trout Run Hatchery Building.
Fruit Baskets
89 baskets delivered, Landowners were very happy, including Mary Dohler. 10 cars went out. An honoree PSA membership
was given to Shane Pheler?, whom donated $500 to the project. Mike Bleech is Building a 1wt fiberglass fly rod to donate to
be raffled off for the 2009 fruit basket project. Plan is to distribute tickets next month. Sell at sport shows and other
events through out the year.
Direction for
club
Mike Hines- Direction for club-Agenda geared toward getting kids involved. Ask the Fish Commission to Have a Kids Derby
the 1st Saturday the Walnut Marina is open to fishing, Kids only in the morning, open to the public in the afternoon.
Nominations need to be made at the February Meeting.
WCO
Report

WCO, Western Erie County
From September 15, 2008 to December 15, 2008, 315 prosecutions we made, 32 WCO’s we involved, 10 DWCO, Whom
patrolled 2940 total hours on the Erie County Tributaries. No big poaching violations this year. Stocking
the Fairview Gravel Pit February 3rd, PAFBC and 3CU. VHS- bio security is in place; visitors are welcome but be
aware of the security. Walnut Access area will see some improvements, new pavilion and new traffic pattern.
2 projects for the club: -Shrubs
at walnut access
-Public Trust Signage for Lake Erie Shore, Don Bezcouski?, PA DEP-possible grant money

Stocking Lake Pleasant, January 16th, fish are from Talco, NC (last year or these).
Most memorable violations this fall were: Tip CAM, violations were video taped and purchasing fish in Walnut parking
lot for $2 each.

of past fishing trips to the membership.
