November Minutes: Was
read, a Motion was made to accept by Herb, Seconded by Greg Y., Motion passed.
Treasury report: Was
read and a motion to accept was made by Herb, Seconded by Jim Sharp, motion passed.
Old Business:
Hatchery Manager- Individual Mike Show will be interviewed by Diane, (Whom will be the hatchery Point
person) and Glen.
- Mike Show is a Bio major attending Mercyhust College.
- Later that evening Mike Snow was approved
to become the hatchery manager for the up coming year.
Newsletter- Updated by Greg Young, the writer.

· Jim would like to get feed back and some more information from the members.
Land owner fruit baskets-

80 have been made up; this will be doubling of the amount given out last
year.

$2105 is the total to date of the donations made by the Partners (PSA,
Gem City Fly Tiers, Northwest TU, SONS witch all donated $300) and donations from the general public.
· Baskets will be delivered on December 20th

· Frank Shiccashonto- Former PSA secretary, update, is doing ok. 85% of the way he was.

John Bodnor, member of the PSA Advisory Board.
Is doing well considering the amount of time the doctors are allowing him to fish/guide. Had Mersa and almost died as a result,
He feels he was very lucky it occurred in Pittsburgh as to Alaska were he was guiding over the summer.
Legislative:
PA Senator, Jane Earl, is drafting a proposal to make the Erie Stamp money permanently going to Erie County.
The PSA will contact her and ask for ways we can help get this through. Mike Hines will be the point man on this. As it is
written now the Erie Stamp moneys will move from a dedicated Erie county fund to the F&BC General fund after 5 years.
This will stop this, and make it permitly attached to Erie County.
WCO report:
Jim Smolko-WCO, East Side of Erie County.
· Winter
stocking of lakes have taken place on Lake Pleasant.
· A late winter
stocking will take place January 20, 2009.
Speaker: We had a round table of the members present.
· Issues were varied, from a history of the fishery to what the club means to the members. Notables, Most member’s
whish to give something back. What kind of direction the club should proceed in. What kinds of projects the club should participate
in.
